Join our open, welcoming Commander community! This is open play 12 Noon - 6 PM, drop in any time. Common start times are 12 Noon and 2 PM. Our friendly staff will help you join a Commander pod and can facilitate your signing up for a Wizards ID.
The Commander format for Magic: The Gathering is popular due to its emphasis on creativity, social interaction, and the unique experiences it offers in each game. Build your 100 card battle deck around a legandary Commander using only unique cards (with the exception of basic lands); start with 40 life points and enjoy the socialization, political maneuvering and alliances of this multiplayer format!
A Wizards ID and New Kawaii customer account are required to be eligible for prizes.

A customer account is automatically created when you purchase your ticket online. If you purchase your ticket in store we can create your account at that time, which requires your name and contact info.

New Kawaii is conveniently located just steps from the Irvington, NY MetroNorth station on the Hudson Line. Free, ample parking is available for this event just outside our Suite 105 entrance in the gated lot between 1 and 2 Bridge Street. Additional parking is available at all times in the open lot adjacent to Sambal restaurant.

Tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, contact us before the event by calling 914-279-0001 or emailing shop@newkawaii.com. If you notify us in advance, you may be eligible to exchange your ticket for another event within 30 days of the original event date, subject to availability. Failure to notify us before the event starts will result in the forfeiture of your ticket.
