Magic: The Gathering Secrets of Strixhaven Booster Draft Event at New Kawaii

Play a friendly Pick-2 draft using the Secrets of Strixhaven set! Pick-2 drafts are quicker and require less players. A casual Pick-2 draft is perfect for beginners to the draft format.
Players begin each game with an emblem that states: Mana of any type can be spent to cast Mystical Archive cards.
Special drafting rule: With each player's first pick from each pack, they also take the Mystical Archive card from that pack.
Players who finish the event with a winning record (having more wins than losses) receive a blind-pack challenge coin featuring one of five Mystical Archive art designs.
Pick-2 Drafts: 4 players, 2 rounds
Unlike traditional eight-player drafts, Pick-2 Drafts allow each player to select two cards per pick, reducing the number of participants needed while maintaining strategic depth and fun. Games are played in pods with of four players. (But 3-7 players are okay, too!) Two Swiss rounds are played.
New to New Kawaii? We recommend purcashing tickets ahead of time online, however walk-ins are welcome to fill any remaining seats, but are not guaranteed.

Tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, contact us before the event by calling 914-279-0001 or emailing events@newkawaii.com. If you notify us in advance, you may be eligible to exchange your ticket for another event within 30 days of the original event date, subject to availability. Failure to notify us before the event starts will result in the forfeiture of your ticket.
A New Kawaii customer account is required to receive prizes. A New Kawaii customer account is automatically created when you purchase your ticket online. If you purchase your ticket in store, we can create your account at that time, which requires your name and contact info.
