*fees include supplies and materials for 1-2 cosplay items per student, students may bring in materials or partially-complete projects from home, or design and create items from start
Love a character? Want to celebrate a certain fandom? Have an idea for a costume, accessory, or prop? Cosplay Craft is where imagination becomes wearable art! Students will learn the basics of cosplay design—from planning and sketching to creating pieces using fabric, foam, cardboard and craft materials. Whether they’re starting something new or bringing in a project already in progress, participants will get hands-on support every step of the way.
As we work on our projects, we’ll talk through and what happens at conventions like Anime NYC and Comic Con, photography tips and more. It’s the perfect space for creative fans to build skills, confidence, and show-stopping pieces they’re proud of.
